Awareness Week 2019: Grace

Emily Murphy on behalf of Grace Murphy, 4:

What does living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus (SB/H) mean to you (Or your child)?

'It means that every day brings a new challenge at Grace's age. She has just started school so we have overcome a number of obstacles. She has overcome all of them with strength and determination that I never realised a 4 year old could have.'

If you could make people aware of 1 thing related to SB/H, what would it be?

'That as a mother, I did take my folic acid.'

What is your dream for the future? (Or your child's?)

'My dream is that Grace lives an independent and happy life as much as possible.'
